Linda Gordon is a self-taught painter and art educator based in Medicine Hat, Alberta. The volume of her artistic work spans more than 20 years. Influenced by mosaic techniques, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and a love of rich, vividly coloured oils, Linda's work traverses a wide variety of subjects and mediums. 

Linda's most recent exhibition, featured at the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Center in Medicine Hat, Alberta draws on the myths, legends and characteristics of peacocks. Her oil paintings merge mosaic technique and rich color conveying a dramatic range and intensity of feeling through skilled and inventive design.
